Earlier this morning, our family reveived a late Christmas gift, an angel.

My dad, Petar (Pete), lost his battle with lung cancer. Thank you dad for your love, hard work and just for being the best father me and Kristina could have and for being a great husband and person to mom.

My family would like to thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers, kind words and monetary donations but at this time, I have no further information as far as services go.

Some of you had asked so here’s an update of my dad, Pete, from what I know:

On November 29th, he complained of stomach pain and wasn’t eating so mom (Violet) and Tina took him to the ER.

Upon scans and tests, it was discovered that a stomach ulcer had ruptured and he was taken to Allentown for emergency surgery.

Surgery was successful and he was placed in a sedated coma (to recover). After a few days, he came to and was taken off oxygen but still had difficulty talking (low, raspy whisper).

After a small setback, and as of tonight (12/8) he was placed back on oxygen. He’s alert but can’t really talk and has trouble hearing. With everything he’s been through, he’s still hanging in there!

Please donate to help my dad, Petar, in his fight against lung cancer!

My parents and sister are always working hard to serve the best food around here at the Park Restaurant but they’ve been without work since July; going to hospitals and doctor appointments.

Any donation would help ease the burden of medical and everyday bills as they help my dad’s fight against cancer!
