JOY may have left the building but it will continue to flow through every soul that experienced it with us. We leave this space filled with gratitude and love for the community we so proudly built and cared for. We thank you for the love, the lessons, the inspiration, the hugs and the space you shared with JOY.

I have seen so many varying reactions to the three HUGE letters outside our building forming a much needed message. J O Y

Joy means something different to all of us.

Some feel like they can never obtain it. Some exude it. Some feel they don’t deserve it, they hide from it and fear what happens if they feel it. Some feel guilty when they experience it; when they think they shouldn’t. Some carry it and spread it like a contagion.

The access point is YOU and it’s me. It is critical. When we experience it, and we accept it, and we honor it, we cannot help but spread it. It’s a much better world with it.

It starts with you caring for you. You deserve it. YOU matter. Make space for JOY. We could use it.

Thank you for supporting our business since 2017!

Our current hours are 9 AM to 3 PM

We will be closed Christmas day.

Our final days for juice pick-up will be
Tuesday December 24th and Monday December 30th.

For pick up on the 24th, place your order online by Sunday.

For FINAL pick up on December 30th, place your order online no later than Friday December 27th.

Our last day operating will be Monday December 30th.

You come in wanting to buy a gift card. Thank YOU for wanting to support our small business. We are not selling them right now.

At JOY we do things a little different. We are constantly shifting how we do things. Sometimes it’s based on necessity to the business, MOST of the time it’s based on what we have learned from YOU. Our main objective…the needs of everyone coming through our door. HOW can we care for you? We want to SEE you.

This season holds something different for everyone. What we have seen and felt the most is reflection, and impermanence. Reflection on our time here, and the loss of someone we love.

The constant reminder every time we hear holiday music or see a decoration. (It’s why we stopped decorating for the holidays.) We also see the excitement of the season in a lot of your faces.

We embrace ALL of this.

The take away is, we have such a short time here, we are not guaranteed another moment or experience with those we care about. Make space for JOY. That person you want to buy that gift card for… Take the moment, tell them why you want to give them JOY. If you can, take the moment and come to JOY WITH them, and catch up. We would LOVE to see YOU.

If you can’t be with them TAKE the moment YOU need.

In the mean time… Tell me below who you want to give JOY to. Tell me why. Tag them if you can. It can be anyone. Let’s speak their name. Let’s reflect the love we feel for them out into this world. I KNOW a lot of people who could use it right now.

For me it’s YOU and yours. It is everyone that has come through our door and those that never got the opportunity. I love you. I am grateful.

Today we celebrate one of the founders of JOY. She grew up creating JOY, caring for our community, being inspired by so many that have come through the doors of JOY, and touching the hearts of all those that come in contact with her.

To say I am proud of her is “actually ridiculous”. I have watched her touch so many lives with her kindness and compassion. She does this quietly, trying to go unnoticed. Sorry grumpy G, you get called out for your kindness constantly! Yes, she can be a little mafia, she is fiercely protective and has my back at all times. She is also a much better business woman!

She has been raised by the JOY community and all that magic lives in her. Thank YOU to everyone that has touched her life and that has recognized her light.

Thank you Gia, for the sacrifices, the support, standing by my side every step of the way, caring for our community, seeing them, holding them when they needed it and quietly bringing that immunity tea in an attempt to make it all better. KNOW that you did. I love you and so does the community that you have helped care for.
