As John Prine sang, “Summer's end came faster than we wanted,” but we certainly can’t complain about this October weather.

Golden leaves dot The Garden, clouds speckle the sky, and a gentle breeze rustles the wilows, all while the sun shines warm overhead. A Tribute to John Prine kicks off at noon and we couldn’t be more excited to have such talented musicians with us on a beautiful Saturday or such amazing partners — Paradigm Coffee and Music and Dave Manion — helping us put this together. 

Bring yourself. Bring a friend or two. Grab some food from The Mill FSC. And, of course, grab a beverage — such as this Late Harvest Dry C***r from Hidden Cave C***ry — and let the music from Katie Dahl, Eric Lewis, & Rich Higdon and Jim Olschmidt & Kevin Zimmerman fill your saturday.

Music starts at noon, and we’ll be pouring at 11am.

Reminder: you’re always welcome to bring a blanket or a few chairs to claim a spot in the grass.

The first Farmhouse Café at Tributary is tonight at 6pm. Table service, a more intimate setting, and a selection of incredible b**rs to try, including one that will likely be the first tapping in Wisconsin, if not the US.

Introducing Farmhouse Café at Tributary! This Friday, October 2, in the south pavilion.

From day one, we’ve been committed to offering an elevated b**r and beverage experience, and we’re leaning into that with a nod toward the renowned Lambic cafés of Belgium.

We’re bringing you world class examples across a range of styles (including a b**r from Brasserie fantome that we’re all particularly excited about), complete with table service in our very own Farmhouse Café popup.

Individual b**r details will be available at Tributary on Friday. Maybe we’ll see you in the café?

We’ve enjoyed every day since we opened for our first season on May 1, but September felt uniquely amazing. From Jules Klee and Trent Machut, to The Water Street Hot Shots, Waltzmeister Spielmall, and Fern Fest (Future Fern), The Garden was alive with music every weekend.

Our Thursday Closer to Craft series gave us the chance to talk about Kolche, c***r, sour, and the Märzens and Festbiers that fill pints and Steins as the weather gets colder.

A steady presence from some of Sheboygan’s favorite food trucks — including Peja Vu, Heavy Smoker BBQ, Jamaica Mi Krazy, Jakum's Smash Shack, La Emperadora Foods Trucks, Slow Coast Acai, Sarap Kusina, and The Mill FSC (who will be back in The Garden every weekend through October!) — kept everyone well fed.

And, of course, our first Tributary Oktoberfest was absolutely incredible. Steinhoisting, keg after keg of some of the best la**rs around, a heathy dose of lederhosen, and an endless stream of friendly faces.

The current plan is to keep pouring through Halloween, so we are nowhere near done for the year, but it has been an incredible first season already, and we’re grateful for this amazing community.

We’re wrapping up our week with Food Truck Monday (we’ll be pouring until 9pm), but we’re already thinking about this coming weekend. From a cask tapping on Friday to the Tribute to John Prine on Saturday, there’s a lot to be excited about.

And this? Right here? It’s something new this coming Friday evening. A side project of sorts. More details tomorrow.

“What will you be doing in the off season?”

We hear that a lot. Understandably. We’d love to continue pouring b**r for you throughout the coldest and darkest months, but that isn’t possible. At least not in The Garden. We’ll share more about the off-season in the coming weeks and in the moment, but here’s something not related to Tributary that John has coming in November.

Long story short: Life is big, and we’ll all be staying very busy.
