The VFW’s Tuesday-Thursday special this week is what we’re calling the Clucking Swine! A marinated herb chicken breast, shaved ham, white cheddar cheese (or choose another flavor) and mayo on a hard roll with our housemade chips and pickle spear for $9.50. Stop in and try it…it’s yummy! 😋

While you’re there, fill out an application. We’re always looking for good bartenders, servers and platers!

Another Friday means another fish fry! And yes…WE ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Stop in for some FRESH perch or sauger from Schwarz Fish or, if you prefer, try our haddock (baked or deep fried), blue gill or fantail shrimp. Not a seafood lover? We’ve got sandwiches too! And don’t forget the soup…tonight we are offering creamy chicken poblano and our signature clam chowder. 😋 The bar opens at 2:00 and food can be ordered from 4-7 p.m.

I just found out that you ate all of the 1/3-lb. burgers we had in stock! This is a great thing, but tonight the pizza burger special will have to be downsized to a 1/4-lb. burger with housemade chips and a pickle spear for $1.00 less — $9.00 instead of $10.00!

Good Boy Vodka — Thought I’d share a photo of a very grateful pup that received one of the toys that were available at the veterans breakfast at the VFW in Sheboygan, WI on August 6th. He loves it so much that he hasn’t destroyed it in over a week! Thanks again for everything that you do. ❤️

The special this week at the VFW is a pizza burger (1/3-lb. burger with pepperoni slices, Cajun cheese, mozzarella and pizza sauce). It comes with housemade chips and a pickle spear for $10.00. Yes…you can stop in because we’re open to the public! (Don’t forget to access the Post from New Jersey Avenue because of the construction on Erie Avenue.)
