Can’t believe it’s been a year without my mom, we miss her so much, but we are making it through and have so much to be thankful for.

John is coming up on his one year Anniversary with Fidelity and Kate decided to step away from college soccer in Louisiana to be closer to family. ♥️🩶 She will be continuing her academics at OSU in the fall! Having a full house this summer is such a gift!

What a week! 😊 Feeling so grateful for my team and the energy and love they pour into every cookie & customer! It’s been a push! Hey Firecracker Friends! Noticed some new followers here, thanks, so glad you are here! ❤️ I’m a little late to wish you all a Happy Mother’s Day here- it’s been a hard couple weeks thinking about Mother’s Day approaching. I truly appreciate you all, your friendship, loyalty and trust in Firecracker mean the world to me. (To all of us)

I lost my mom last year, May 30, 2025. We lost my dad 20 years before that. Us 5 kids (& spouses & families) and my mom figured it out and lived life. My mom was a great example for us -living without my dad, being the strongest mom, making us kids and our families the center of her universe. She got involved in anything we were doing. She worked at the bakery, treasured every single gal who worked here and loved being part of the “Firecracker Gang.” I miss her tremendously. She valued working hard, seeing her kids & grandchildren, being active, hanging with her girlfriends for Friday night dinners, concerts in the park, and just appreciated the really simple things in life. You guys, I got through my first Mother’s Day without my mom. We all did, together. We got this, one day at a time. 😊 Thanks for following along, hope to see you soon at the bakery! 🩷🩷🩷. Goodbye April! 🌸 Where did the month go? My heart is so full looking back at the last 30 days. I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing response to a fun cookie competition we joined and for all the new faces following along here. We are truly appreciative for all of the Graduation orders and our incredibly loyal customers! Thank you for trusting my small business, sharing our work, and for your kind words! 💖. We love what we do!

It’s been a minute since I last posted. You guys, we’ve been working like crazy. 🎉 Today I closed the website for May and part of June. I’m not sure if you know how hard that is for me to do. Grad moms, you have our hearts. We get you, 💯! 🩷 My team has been working hard. 🥱 We ❤️ LOVE ❤️ our job, and LOVE our customers so much. Our product is handmade, and our relationship with our customers is our top priority. Please know we take each order very seriously, and want to make sure we allow ample time to prepare your order, to greet you on arrival, and of course catch up!

If you haven’t been able to order ahead we do offer Grab n’ Go every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10-5. 😊 It’s the perfect option for last minute cookie grabs! We have a variety of flavors that will be perfect for your clients, friends or family for a weekend surprise or a business drop off!

A small business is only as strong as its team, and mine is unmatched. I went on vacation, and my team at Firecracker didn’t just survive, they thrived! Thank you for your hard work and dedication while I was away. I’m excited to jump back in this week!

Sharing some photos of my incredible family, Marc, John & Kate. To make the trip even more special, John’s girlfriend Kylie joined us along with Kate’s friend and teammate from college, Maggie, and my brother Dave!

Huge thanks and shoutout to our long time friends, for our comfortable stay in their rental home in Tucson, Arizona. We highly recommend staying there, it was the absolute perfect home combining poolside family time & the best outdoor cooking suite with pickleball & ping pong at the house, and hiking within a 20 min drive.
