Friends,

After looking at the numbers from the last couple of weeks, Ashley and I realized something important: this season is calling us to be intentional.

Intentional with this business.
Intentional with our customers.
Intentional with our families.
And intentional as moms.

One of the greatest blessings of owning a small business is getting to serve this community. One of the greatest blessings of being a mom is getting to be present for the moments that matter most. We’re grateful that this season allows us to do both.

As summer begins, we’re adjusting our hours to better reflect where our customers are and how we can best steward our time and energy. This change allows us to continue serving you well while also creating space for family dinners, ballgames, summer adventures, and the everyday moments that go by too quickly.

434 Coffee has never been just about coffee. It’s about community. It’s about relationships. It’s about celebrating life’s milestones, praying through hard seasons, and sharing a little piece of each other’s stories.

Thank you for supporting this little coffee shop and the families behind it. Because of you, two moms get to live out a dream while still being present for the people who matter most.

Every bottle in this cooler started with coffee beans carefully grown on small farms around the world and roasted fresh right here for you.

When we choose our coffee, we choose farms that pay living wages and support the families who work hard to grow every bean. So when you stop by 434 Coffee for your morning latte, you’re doing more than grabbing a drink.

You’re helping support my family here in Seymour, and you’re helping support farming families around the world too.

And in a world that seems to move faster every day, my hope is that 434 Coffee can be a small place where busy parents, hardworking families, students, and early risers can slow down for just a minute. A place to take a deep breath, gather your thoughts, say a prayer, or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee before heading back into the day.

Because coffee has always been about more than coffee.

“Therapy.”
Funny how a tiny drive thru can become so much more than coffee. ❤️

Some people come for caffeine.
Some come because life feels heavy.
Some are celebrating babies, marriages, new jobs, answered prayers.
Some are walking through heartbreak, loss, stress, exhaustion, or just trying to make it through the day.

And somehow in this tiny little building… strangers become friends, conversations turn into prayers, and coffee turns into connection.

This place has never just been about drinks to me.
It’s about creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are. No pretending. No pressure. No perfect outfit or perfect life required.

A place where you can laugh, cry, vent, celebrate, sit in silence, ask for prayer, or just grab your favorite drink and know somebody is glad you came.

More than great coffee.
More than a drive thru.
A small but mighty little community that I’m endlessly thankful for. ☕❤️

This Memorial Day, I’m especially thankful.
Thankful to live in a country where I can own a small business as a woman, raise my babies, worship my Lord freely, and savor the simple blessings of life without fear. 🇺🇸

I never want to take that freedom for granted. This long weekend we remember the brave men and women who gave everything so we could have it. Their sacrifice is the reason we get to live the lives we do — gathering with family, chasing dreams, building businesses, worshipping freely, and enjoying the beauty of this country we call home.

So today, I’m grateful.
For freedom.
For faith.
For community.
And for those who served and those who never made it home.

May we never forget the cost of our freedom. ❤️🤍💙
