It’s summer and Halo halo is available Let’s go! @ Mateo!!

It’s got sweetened nata de coco strips, coconut strips, chickpeas, white beans, mini tapioca, red jelly (agar), topped with jackfruit strips, leche flan, ube jam , shaved ice, condensed milk and regular milk.

Summer is here and some patrons are requesting for Halo halo! Now, Halo-halo is a popular Filipino dessert composed of shaved ice, evaporated or regular milk, and a mix of sweet ingredients like sweetened beans, fruits, jellies, and leche flan (egg custard), topped with ube ( purple yam jam) and jackfruit!

We will soon be offering this seasonal dessert @ MateoKC.

Don’t forget, it’s this Saturday, June 6 @ the Marriott 11 am to 3pm.

Mateo will have Stir Fried Rice, Lumpiang Shanghai, Biko ( baked sticky rice cake) and Halaya (purple yam jam).

Other vendors will be there too so more choices for food and drinks!
