Okay…

August 5th is getting close and I am NOT ready for how nervous-excited I am. 😅

It reminds me of when I first started selling my bakes on the side of the road at Carolina Bell Produce scared, hoping my community would even like what I made.
Turns out y’all liked it a lot more than I expected. We grew fast, and you showed up for us every single weekend. I will never forget that as long as I live.
I love you guys, and I’m so thankful for how you’ve supported me every step of the way.

Somewhere along the way, us older women start to feel like we just disappear. I don’t believe that for one second….

Okay y’all, I’ve been sitting on the biggest thing I’ve ever made.
If you’ve followed me since Odette’s Bakery, you know I love creating things that bring people together. This just looks a little different.
I poured my heart and soul into this one. It’s sacred to me, because I’ve practiced it myself, religiously, and I wholeheartedly believe in it.

It’s called The Glow Method. Face yoga, simple self-care, and feeling good in your own skin again.
I wrote it for women like US. You don’t have to look 25 again, you just deserve to feel good when you look in the mirror and see the beauty that’s already there.

The last few months have been different.

Growing more than I ever expected. Sometimes life gets really quiet before something beautiful begins.
I’ve been working on something behind the scenes that’s incredibly special to me.
It’s almost time.

He is Super Human !! …

and not just because the shirt says so.
Happy Birthday to the man who keeps showing up, keeps lifting (literally and figuratively), and keeps choosing growth even when life hands him a harder rep than expected. This past year asked a lot of you, Henry and you met every bit of it with steadiness, humor, and heart. Watching you close one chapter clean and walk into a new one lighter, stronger, and more you than ever has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.
Happy Birthday, my love. You are, in every sense of the word, Super Human. 🎂✨

“It’s been a while, and I’ve missed you all. 🖤

Well… life update: I’ve been on a health journey dealing with inflammation I couldn’t shake, so I finally stopped ignoring my body and started listening to it. That led me back to fasting (something I’ve done on and off for two years, so I’m basically a pro 😅). This time wasn’t about weight loss though it was about healing. Funny enough, the weight came off anyway.
Yesterday I walked uphill for the first time in ages and felt like I was coming down with the flu after 😏 Today I realized
that wasn’t sickness, that was just my body finally working right.
Has your body ever surprised you, even when you thought you had it all figured out? Tell me about it I would really love to know. ❤️😊

Some days are easier than others.

Some days I still can’t believe how much life has changed.

Oconee County! Look at what we did ! 💪❤️

Homegrown Magazine officially released their very first edition, and Odette’s Bakery is part of it.

Seeing this finally in print means a lot after the past couple weeks. Thank you to Homegrown Magazine for sharing our story, and thank YOU to everyone who supported us from the beginning.

No matter what happens next, the love and support this community showed us will always be part of Odette’s Bakery. ❤️
