💥💥Update: We had some regulars that wanted the full Rankin Revival Band together for music this evening and made it work with Heath. Music will still be at 6:30PM tonight, but it will be the FULL BAND! 🎸🥁

Who’s ready for some cooler and drier weather?!!🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ That’s exactly what it looks like is on the schedule this weekend after we make it through this evening and we can’t wait! Live music, great food and amazing beers all hit differently when hanging out in our backyard.

Speaking of beer, we’ve neglected our duty to talk about beer at KBC lately. Please forgive us. We have just been so excited about what our kitchen has been doing lately that we haven’t mentioned what made us so great to begin with quite as often, but the beer remains great. This week we put Heat Waves back on tap. Heat Waves is our Pale Ale that we have only done a couple of times before. Slightly fruity, slightly piney and totally crushable for these warm days we have been having!

Yesterday we also put this year’s release of Oktoberfest on tap! This is a beer that everyone waits all year for us to bring back and now is your chance. Why so early you might ask? We try to keep things fairly traditional around here and the traditional Oktoberfest is a celebration leading up to October that starts in September and runs until the beginning of October.

That’s why our Octoberfest celebration at KBC will be on September 26th (mark your calendars if you haven’t already). We just thought we would get the party started a little early with the release of the beer and see how long we can keep it going! Don’t worry, we shouldn’t run out of beer by September 26th. We already have more batches of Oktoberfest waiting their turn to be ready and released.

This weekend we have two amazing artists lined up for live music. Friday night we have live music from Dillon Brown and Saturday night we have Heath Rankin hitting the stage for some live tunes. Music is from 6:30-8:30PM both evenings.

Happy first day back to school for all of the Clemson students! If you are looking for a way to unwind this evening we have the perfect thing for you! Join us tonight (and every Wednesday night) for Music Bingo with Dave!
◇
If you are unfamiliar with Music Bingo, it is really quite simple. Come to KBC before 6:30PM, grab a drink, some food and your favorite table and let our bartenders know you want to play Music Bingo. They will give you a packet of 7 different bingo cards which represent the 7 rounds of music that will be played. Dave will play a brief clip of each song in the genre of music for each round and if it’s on your card you mark it off. Just like regular bingo. What if you don’t know the song? No problem! You can ask a friend, ask a bartender or even use your phone (Shazam!).
◇
If you’re lucky enough to have the right songs on your card to make a Bingo then you win! The winner of each round then gets to play a side game of Plinko (because who hasn’t dreamt of playing Plinko since they were a kid) to determine what prize they win. It’s that easy! Always free to play as many or as few rounds as you want with a chance to win each round. Stop out, listen to some good tunes, enjoy some great food and beverages, and maybe even win some prizes. Sounds like a perfect Wednesday to us!

It’s move in weekend in Clemson, so we know everyone is going to need some refreshing beverages and amazing food to help recover from all the hard work in the heat. This weekend Dave has come out with some amazing wine slushies just for the occasion. Try the Orange Creamsicle Pina Colada (Orange) or the Butterfly Peach Blossom (Purple). Either way you can show off your Tiger sprint while cooling down and relaxing.

We’re almost halfway through August already. Have you tried all of the August food specials our kitchen is putting out yet? Pictured today are The Vos Chicken Sandwich and The Walnut & Main Salad. No matter what you are in the mood for our kitchen has something for you. Stop out and try some of the best food in the area while you are in town!

This weekend we have two amazing musicians lined up for live music. Friday night Angela Easterling will be joining us and Saturday night will be a KBC newcomer, Matt Ryan. Music will be from 6:30-8:30PM both nights. Come join us for some amazing live entertainment both nights this weekend.

Today is the day everyone has been waiting all month for—First Friday Fish & Chips! It’s the one day a month that you can get the best Fish & Chips you have ever had at KBC. We start with 2 Large Hand Breaded Fresh, Not Frozen, Cod Filets, Add in Some Fresh Cut French Fries and Finish it with a Side of Coleslaw, Lemon Dill Caper Sauce, and Lemon Wedge. At $21 (all taxes already included) it’s the best Fish & Chips deal you will find around! We open at 11AM on Friday and Saturday for all of you food and beverage needs.

Not only can you get Fish & Chips (Friday only), but you can get all of the food specials our kitchen is putting out for July all month long. This month you can try The Fried Green Tomato Smashburger, The Vos Chicken Sandwich, Shrimp Scampi Alla Rossa and the Walnut & Main Salad. All of them are amazing! And on top all the specials we still have our “regular” (but still awesome) food menu available everyday.

This weekend we also have some amazing musicians lined up for live music on Friday and Saturday night. Tonight is Clay Johnson making the drive all the way from Spartanburg to be with us. Clay always brings the fun and we’re psyched to have him back. Saturday night is Spencer Heringa. Spencer is known for his unique setlists that incorporate some grunge and rock to mix things up. Both artists are amazing, so we hope you can catch some music with us from 6:30-8:30PM both nights.

The first Tuesday of the month means new food specials here at KBC. While we know it’s never easy to say goodbye to last month’s specials, we think you are really going to like with our chefs are cooking up for August. Starting today you can try:

* The Vos Chicken Sandwich—Our Classic HUGE Fried Chicken Sandwich with Bacon, Chipotle-Raspberry BBQ Sauce, and Jack Cheese. Served with Kettle Chips. $15
* Shrimp Scampi Alla Rossa—Sauteed Shrimp Scampi with Garlic, White Wine, and Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Served Over Angel Hair Pasta Topped with Parmesan Cheese. $19

We’re sending “summer break” off in style this weekend with a lot of great brews, food, music and good times. This weekend is also the last weekend that our July food specials will be around. This means it will be your last time to have The Outlaw Burger, The Salm-WIch, Red Mesa Bowl and the Villa Verde Salad. Grab them one last time while you can! All new specials for August will be starting on Tuesday next week.

Earlier this week we put Hike & Hops back on tap. This American IPA has always been a huge hit when it returns to the tap lines. It perfectly balances the flavors of pine, resin, and citrus while only coming in at 6.0% ABV. It will be your perfect companion for the lake, pool, trails and upcoming tailgates. If your adventures are taking you out and around the county make sure you grab a few Crowlers to take with you.

This weekend we also have two amazing musicians joining us for live music from 6:30-8:30PM on Friday and Saturday. Friday night is BJ Callahan. You might recognize BJ as the frontman for Amongst the Trees, but every once in a while he will do solo shows and we can’t wait to have him back at KBC. Saturday night is Andrew Crocker. This will be the first time that Andrew has been back at KBC since last year. He was one of the artists that everyone always asked us to bring back when he first came around last year, but due to some scheduling conflicts we haven’t been able to have him in a while. Stop out both evenings for some great music and make sure you pair it with some great drinks and wonderful food.

Today is the last hurrah for a fun Music Bingo night before school starts back and the end of “summer break.” Since we haven’t been able to do a Music Bingo night outside the entire month of July we thought we would send summer break off the right way with a true Music Bingo night being outside. Luckily, the weather is cooperating and is much milder today than it has been past weeks. It’s even supposed to be in the low 80’s by the end of Music Bingo! Come pack out the backyard and let’s have a fun time together!

This week for Wingsday our chef has made a very fun flavor for wings—Cherry Gojuchang. It’s a little sweet and a little savory with some spice flavor without being spicy. The best way to describe it would be a sweet/savory Dr. Pepper flavor for wings. We really like it and think it will be a huge hit! Come give it a try and let us know what you think.

The weather might not be the best this weekend, but a little rain never got us down at KBC. The good times will continue to roll! This weekend we had a last minute switch up with the music schedule and our good friend Billy Bauer will be joining us for live music this evening. Billy is no stranger to anyone around here, but everyone knows you never want to miss a Billy Bauer show. Around here we call him The World Famous Billy Bauer and that’s for good reason. Tomorrow night we have a brand new artist to KBC joining us for live music. Make sure you stop out and give Donovan Howard a warm welcome. Donovan is joining us from Kentucky and tomorrow was the only date that Donovan had open on his calendar that lined up with ours. It’s ways a good sign when musicians are in that high of demand. Stop out tomorrow night to see why. Music both nights will be 6:30-8:30PM.

Looking for some mid-week fun? KBC has you covered! Tonight is everyone’s favorite night—Music Bingo with Dave. If you haven’t played Music Bingo before, we play 7 rounds of music and all you need to do is identify the song or band to the corresponding song or band on your card. You can even use Shazam or a friend to help identify the song, but what fun is that? The first person to get a Bingo on their card wins a prize with a side game of Plinko. All 7 rounds are free to play, so join us for as many as you would like!

To make this Wednesday even better our chefs have made a custom Raspberry Chipotle sauce for our Wingsday special! It’s a little sweet, a little smokey and a touch spicy. Get 8 wings and a side of fries for $17 (Wednesdays only).

As an added bonus we have put Hindsight back on tap now! Hindsight is always a fan favorite when it is on tap, but it’s not one that we keep around all the time. Grab a few pints before it disappears again.

Don’t forget that tomorrow, Thursday, is our Burger & Beer night at KBC. Grab any of the Artisan Smash Burgers with fries and a 16oz draft KBC beer for only $19 total. Both the burger and beer have to be ordered at the same time for the discount to be applied. The Burger & Beer special happens rain or shine, so if your typical Thursday plans get rained out we will still be here for your food & beverage needs.

Summer is now in full swing and things are heating up at KBC. This weekend we have another stacked lineup of brews, food, community, live music and World Cup finals. Join us this weekend for all of the good times!

Tonight we get to welcome Randall Martin back to the KBC stage for some amazing live music. You might recognize Randall from The Whitewater Heathens and some other local bands, but tonight we get to welcome him as a solo act. You will never be disappointed with a great night of music from Randall Martin. Saturday night we get to welcome a new artist to the KBC stage. J. Stephens will be bringing his mix of country, classic rock and even some pop from Spartanburg for a great show. Come out Saturday night and give him a huge KBC welcome to the area. Music both nights start at 6:30PM.

This weekend also has the 3rd place World Cup match going on Saturday afternoon and the World Cup final happening on Sunday afternoon. Come watch both matches on the HUGE screen at KBC and enjoy some amazing brews and food while cheering on your favorite team. This only happens once every 4 years, so make it count while you can!
