The Seguin Community Little Free Pantry is a little self-service free food pantry. We think it's important that folks can get food when they need it.

We are located by Artable Curiosities in the Seguin Schoolyard.

We have gotten another Rival Crock Pot in our donation drive and it looks like the mama to the first one. Also in pristine condition and it’s about an 8 quart model. These things date back to around the 1970’s, when they first came out. Super simple and easy to care for. This one would be perfect for a larger family. Please let us know if you are interested in getting one and if you’ve got one to donate, now’s the time!

Once again our pantry stores have dwindled. If you are so moved, some protein and kid-friendly food and personal hygiene products would be awesome! Also, this is day 2 of our Crock Pot Donation Drive. Already got folks signing up to get them. The need is real!

Guess what? We got our first donated crock pot! And it’s a beauty! A vintage Rival slow cooker in pristine condition. So, what we need to do now is ask our neighbors who need one to message the pantry your contact info and perhaps your family size so we can get the right crock pot to the right recipient. and thank you Millie for this wonderful crock pot!

Whew! What a difference two days can make! Two days and a handful of generous neighbors who collectively filled our little pantry once again. We actually got so much wonderful food AND toiletries, that we couldn’t put it all out. So we have a little space to store products we can put out as the pantry is shopped. Thank you to the generous neighbors who came forward in our time of need.

We still have a large amount of dried beans and I’m perplexed because they are so easy to prepare and so tasty and very nutritious. Perhaps our followers would like to share some simple recipes that they enjoy making, serving and eating? I’ll go dig in by recipes and find one too.

I think we might have an emergency on our hands. The pantry has never been so empty and I’m concerned. We have been desperately low on hygiene products for a while, but now our food offerings are simply inadequate. i’m asking anyone who can help, OR, if you are local, please share this post on your page, so we can reach more people. Thank you to all who follow, share, and donate to our little Free Pantry!

Dear Community,
We have definitely been found! Which is great, but now our shelves are bare. If you can help to replenish them, it would be gratefully accepted. Personal hygiene products are also almost all gone. Let’s take care of our neighbors!
