IT ALL STARTED WITH A DREAM OF GIVING BACK TO HER SMALL TOWN COMMUNITY…
WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY AROSE AFTER WATCHIING HER TOWN STRUGGLE AFTER THE PANDEMIC SHELLEY THE OWNER OF SHELLEY’S SHACK DECIDED TO TAKE ON A DREAM SHE HAS ALWAYS WANTED. A PLACE TO OFFER HER LOYAL CUSTOMERS A PLATE AND A COFFEE TO GIVE A FULL EXPERIENCE OF COMMUNITY. THE HISTORY OF THE BUILDING BEING FROM THE 1930’S AND THE SPAC

E BEING RENOVATED FROM A OLD GARAGE IT WAS FITTING TO HONOR THE OLD TIME FEEL WHILE STILL GIVING IT A SMALL TOWN FEEL. SHE WANTED TO KEEP IT LOCAL AND WILL BE PROUDLY OFFERING WHIDEBEY COFFEE, LA CONNOR TEA, AND COCO’S COOKIES.ALL THE ITEMS ON THE MENU WILL BE SIMPLY FRESH, DELICIOUS, AND FILLING. THE GARAGE WILL BE NOTHING BUT A POSITIVE, UPBEAT AND INVITING SPACE TO BE YOUR ONE STOP SHOP!

HAHAHA… she doesn’t. 😂🤷‍♀️
Owning a small business is basically waking up every morning and saying, “Alright, what kind of chaos are we working with today?” 😅
No one prepares you for the unpredictability, the problem solving, the long days, the things breaking, the staffing shuffle, the endless to-do list… or the approximately 473 things happening at the exact same time. 😂
But then you look around The Garage and see full tables, smiling faces, happy customers and empty plates. You read an amazing review. You see a regular walk through the door. Someone tells you how much they love this little place. ❤️
And suddenly… the chaos feels pretty dang worth it.
Thank YOU for making all the crazy worth it. ❤️
