Had a great day today at VFW BBQ COMP! Took 1st in chicken thighs, 2nd in wings, 2nd in StL style ribs, and 4th in pork steak, ( pork steaks were my fault, I almost forgot to put them on before it was too late, lol. Overall we took home Grand Champion which really made our day. Made up a batch of that Finkle's Sweet and Sticky With a touch of Heat on site for the competition, all I can say is that sauce is the BOSS Huge thank you to my teammate and wife Tara Tingle , I dang sure couldn't do it without you! It was fast paced to the point I didn't get many pictures, but here are a few.

Pulled pork from yesterday's butts, smoked 14 hrs total, rested for 10 hours in the cooler, and then pull this morning. Almost had to make a sammich, it smells so good

Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend. Here's a little crash course on butt prep for amazing pulled pork. Labor Day Special

Good Sunday Morning Everyone! Today we are preparing a couple pork butts to go in the smoker for a long day and night of slow cooking. Also this afternoon at 3pm we are going to draw a name for the winner of the Help us hit 100 followers, and y'all came through with a quickness. So we will see you this afternoon, we will try and go LIVE for the drawing if FB allows us. And again thank you for all the support and likes!

Morning everyone, well it's Monday and back to the daily grind of work. I just want to tell everyone thank you again, you guys just blew me away with all the support and good vibes this weekend! We have almost made it to 100 followers, I know that's not many, but it's a start. So I would like to ask everyone to like and share this post so we can get more exposure. Labor Day is coming up fast and at the end of August we are going to draw a name from the hat and give a flight of all of our current sauces and rubs ( Sweet & Sticky, Touch of Heat, Sweet Garlic, Spicy Garlic, and our newest sauce our Finkles NOT RANCH) to one of our followers, so please like and share!

What a weekend it has been, couldn't ask for more. We placed 9th overall in the Smokin Bros - Smoking on the Rails 2026 baby back ribs, there were some big name teams (32 total I believe ), so we are very proud of that 9th . Gve out hundreds of sauce samples, made smoked bologna ( 1 bbq rub, 1 spog, and one sauced), Lil smokies candied in 2 different flavors , extra wings, and ribs for people to try. Their reactions was the best part, no negative feedback all positive. Chaffee thank you for having us, we look forward to he next one!
