I asked everyone to pick an ice cream flavor and snap a picture. Her response made me laugh:

“I was told to take a pic of me with ice cream. I chose Key Lime Pie to be a stereotypical Floridian because I’m not sure what my favorite is yet! ”

Fair enough! When you work around ice cream all day, picking just one favorite isn’t always easy.

For now, she’s representing Florida with Key Lime Pie, and honestly, that’s a pretty good choice!

Meet two of our amazing Pop’s Ice Cream team members, Jaz and Wendy!

Both Jaz and Wendy work full-time with the Indian River County School District in food service and then spend part of their free time right here at Pop’s. Why? Because they love seeing all of “their kids” from school come through our doors for a sweet treat!

Jaz is our dairy-free ice cream expert and can’t resist a good coffee-flavored scoop.

Wendy is all about Cookie Dough Ice Cream and is always excited to see familiar faces from the cafeteria walk into the shop.

We are so lucky to have these two caring, hardworking ladies on our team. Their love for the children in our community shines through every day, whether they’re serving lunches at school or scooping ice cream at Pop’s.

Next time you stop in, be sure to say hi to Jaz and Wendy and thank them for everything they do for our local kids!
