Announcing the next class in our Wine Education program! Sensory Simplicity & Wine Words lead by Ken Dillon, the extraordinary Black, LGBTQ+ winemaker whose winery Footprint Wine Tap is Seattle’s first sustainable keg wine-on-tap concept. Ken is a trailblazer in diversity, sustainability, and community leadership.

So what's it about? If you've ever wondered how to describe what you're tasting, or pick the right wine for the occasion, this class will break down the industry language, from how grapes are grown to what shows up in a tasting note, so you can taste and talk about wine with more confidence.

We'll taste through several Footprint wines together, then compare your notes to the official tasting notes at the end. Enjoy 10% off any Footprint Wine Tap bottles you decide to take home. This class is limited to 20 seats.

💫 Tasting the Stars at WeRise Wine Bar - Raina's Birth Chart Tasting

August 19th | 6:30-8PM | 10 seats left! | $20

Join us for an evening to learn how to read and understand your birth chart, paired with a tasting flight of 3 wines based on your individual sun, moon, and rising sign.

What to bring: Come knowing where you were born, plus the exact date and time, for the most accurate birth chart. If you don't have your exact birth time, we can still generate a chart; it just might be a touch less precise, but still completely fun!

Who this is for: Anyone curious about wine and astrology who wants to go deeper than just their sun sign.

About the host: Raina Enrique has been studying astrology for almost a decade. Growing up, she'd rush to the horoscope section of magazines and search the night sky for the zodiac constellations. Over the years, that curiosity has grown into a way of understanding herself, the people she loves, and the world around her.

As an activist for the Black community, Tessie spent her life standing up for progress, equality, and community empowerment. To honor her legacy, we partnered with E|3 WINES , an incredible non-profit winery dedicated to eradicating social injustice, one bottle at a time. The mission of E3 is one that would have resonated deeply with Tessie, making this collaboration the ultimate tribute to her spirit.
