Fishy Friends,

It is with very heavy hearts that we share that the Fish Ladder will be closing its doors on August 27th. Our landlord has elected to give us the boot and is refusing to allow us to renew our lease. We have loved 4910 Leary for almost two decades, first as patrons for over 15 years, hustlers out front selling hot dogs and then when the opportunity arose we worked tirelessly to build something of our own here.

We have dumped a ton of resources into this place to ensure that it was a safe space for ALL people. We prided ourselves on hosting community organized groups who had no where else to go to host their events. In the end here, money is winning out over community and it breaks our hearts.

We have a jam packed schedule of events for our last few weeks, so come down and send us out with a bang!

We will be liquidating all of our fun fishy glassware and items used to conduct business before we close to assist in recouping what we have lost here. If you feel like coming down and snagging some as well as a farewell cocktail and fried chicken sandwich before we close, we would love to have you.

A huge shoutout to our staff who have cared for and given their all to this space for the last almost two years. We love you Darwin, Jersey, Cam, Evelyn, Kendra & Albert. To those of you who’ve given of your time and energy over the time we have been here, we appreciate and love you so much!
