Le Gourmand

Le Gourmand Learn techniques for cooking a delicious, stress-free 5-course meal while you eat great food & drink lots of great wine...

We offer three-hour lecture/demonstration classes with a focus on classic French cooking using local, organically grown ingredients. Structured around a complete four or five course meal, each course - appetizer through dessert - will be prepared in real time, from raw ingredients to finished dish. Complex technique is broken down into simple steps, allowing you to reproduce these dishes at home.

Students dine on each course as it is completed, and enjoy a wine selected to match the dish. Two classes are held on the last Sunday of each month from 1 -4 p.m & from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. To register, please telephone 206.784.3463

Summer leads to Autumn which leads to a Cooking Class with me! We will take the best and most interesting of Summer's bounty and the emerging wonders of Autumn and create a menu of pure yumminess! Players will include Plums, Grapes, Tomatoes, Peppers, Chanterelles, Peaches, Rose-Scented Geraniums, Figs, Cardoons.....did someone say Matsutakes and Quinces???
