14oz, rubbed with coffee, chicory and smoked paprika, grilled hard and finished with Creole cowboy butter. Then comes the banchan: collard green kimchi, sweet potato & chow chow salad, sesame bean sprouts and fresh herbs.

A little Creole, a little Korean, and very much COMMUNION.

Feat. Artist is back at Communion.

For October’s CD Art Walk, we’re featuring Seattle-based visual artist Chloe Morris, whose work explores identity, spirituality, family, and the beauty and magic found within us.

Join us Friday, October 2 from 6–9 PM to experience Chloe’s work throughout Communion, then come back Saturday from 12–3 PM for the artist reception featuring cocktails from Brown Liquor Cocktail Co.

Come for the art, stay for dinner, drinks, and a little First Friday energy.

Okay, now that the season is over… we can talk about it. 👀



Our little moment didn’t make the cut, but the vibes definitely made the table.

We had such a good time feeding BelléJolie and Mecca Amen during Married at First Sight. Good food, good conversation and a little love in the air — you know how we do at Communion.

What a weekend. From farm to market to table, this one was all about celebrating the people, food, and community that make Pike Place Market so special.

We hit the market, shopped what’s fresh, and picked up something special for the guest joining us at dinner. Any guesses where we ended up? 👀

Join us Saturday & Sunday at Judkins Park as we celebrate Black culture, community, music, art, and some seriously good food. Umoja Fest is one of Seattle’s longest-running celebrations of the African diaspora, and we’re proud to be part of it once again.
We’ll be serving up Communion favorites all weekend, so come hungry, bring your people, and spend the day soaking up everything that makes this city special.
