Today we're raising a glass to a timeless classic and a cherished family tradition.

Meet The Carlyle, one of Raven Gastropub's signature cocktails. Simple, elegant, and ice cold, it's made with Grey Goose vodka, a touch of dry vermouth, and served straight up with three olives.

But what makes this martini special isn't just what's in the glass, it's the story behind it.

The Carlyle is named after Walter Carlyle Donovan Jr., Brian and Adele's father and father-in-law, whose love of martinis was passed down from his father before him. Over the years, sharing a martini has become a family tradition, enjoyed before holidays, dinners, celebrations, and just about any time there's a reason to gather.

Raven Gastropub had the honor of hosting a Celebration of Life for nearly 70 family members and friends.

When unexpected challenges arose with the original venue, we were grateful for the opportunity to step in and help create a welcoming space where loved ones could gather, share memories, and celebrate a life well lived.

Moments like these remind us that hospitality is about so much more than food and drinks. It's about bringing people together, offering comfort, and being there for our community when it matters most.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of their loved one. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of such a meaningful day.
