GrubRunner is still launching in Mount Pleasant and Scottdale this summer. From unexpected life events to slower software development than initially expected, we have decided to not officially launch until late August.

Quick update on GrubRunner 👇

A lot has been happening behind the scenes: bootstrapping everything myself, building both the customer and runner native apps, getting them ready for the app stores, designing a digital media plan, and making sure the whole system actually works the right way.

Because of that, I’m pushing the official launch back a bit.

🚀 New launch date: Wednesday, March 4th

I’d rather take the extra time to do this correctly than rush something half-baked. The goal is simple: reliable delivery that actually makes sense for Scottdale and Mount Pleasant.

In the meantime, I’ll still be doing limited deliveries and working with local businesses as we dial everything in.

🚨 First GrubRunner delivery is officially done 🚨

We made our first-ever GrubRunner delivery today; to a local business in Mount Pleasant. They ordered directly from the restaurant, we handled the delivery, and it worked exactly how it should.

For the next couple weeks, we’re keeping things simple and controlled:

👉 Now delivering ONLY to local businesses
👉 Mount Pleasant & Scottdale
👉 Mondays-Fridays from 9 AM until 3 PM
👉 Now through Feb 15

If you’re a business and want food delivered for your staff, meetings, or late days... this is for you.

GrubRunner is basically DoorDash or Uber Eats, but built specifically for small towns like Scottdale and Mount Pleasant instead of big cities.

The big difference is how delivery is run. Delivery apps are built for cities, so drivers get pulled all over the place, orders sit, and customers pay high fees for inconsistent service.

GrubRunner works differently. It’s a local-first delivery system designed around how people here actually order food.

If you already order food and hate driving to pick it up (or paying crazy DoorDash fees), this is for you.

A few important things so expectations are clear:

• You order food directly from the restaurant like you normally do
• GrubRunner handles pickup + delivery
• I’m starting small (one runner, limited capacity)
• Because of that, early access is required at launch

For the first 3 months, only people on the early access list will be able to request deliveries. That’s just to keep delivery times honest and test this thing out.
