Tuesday, June 9, 2026 we are feeding the Unhoused. We need a team of 18 to 20 at 4:45pm to prepare for the 5:00pm briefing. It's best to come in jeans, tennis shoes, and T-shirts. They do not allow crocks, sandals, ballerina shoes, slides, or any other shoe that does not cover the entire foot with socks. We are serving in the dining area and kitchen. Chicago hot dog ain’t just lunch… it’s a city rule wrapped in a poppy seed bun. 🌭🔥
Look at that thing.
Mustard.
Relish.
Onions.
Tomato.
Pickle spear.
Sport peppers.
Celery salt.
Everything has a job.
Nothing is random.
This isn’t one of those “just throw whatever on it” situations.
This is Chicago tradition, and the whole city is silently watching to make sure you don’t mess it up. 😭
You take one bite and suddenly understand why people here get so serious about a hot dog.
It’s crunchy.
It’s salty.
It’s spicy.
It’s messy.

Where every block has a Dunkin’, the expressway is permanently under construction, and somebody is still ordering an iced coffee while lake-effect snow is blowing sideways at 40 mph. 😭

From crowded CTA platforms to neighborhood corners packed with orange-and-pink signs, Chicago runs on caffeine, sarcasm, and pure survival mode. 🚗💀

At this point, the city doesn’t even use landmarks anymore…
it’s just “take a left at the third Dunkin’ after Wrigley.” 😂

Downtown, South Side, Northwest Side, suburbs… doesn’t matter.
There’s always another Dunkin’ five minutes away and somehow the drive-thru line is STILL wrapped around the building. ☕🚦

Chicago doesn’t have seasons anymore…
just “hot coffee weather” and “iced coffee weather.””

Last Wednesday I proudly represented A Chicago Bite in the successful completion of the UTSA college of business Stimulating Urban Renewal Through Entrepreneurship (SURE) Program! I learned so much and I’m grateful to have been accepted into this program to help my business grow! Now y’all can stop leaving me bad reviews for being closed on Wednesday nights even though it’s printed on the door we are open and I’m human so sometimes forgot to put the other sign up! We will now resume regular business hours! Thank you all for your continued support and understanding!
