Our free library got a refresh this afternoon ✨ I spent the afternoon cleaning up, organizing and rearranging the space and was blown away! We have so many new additions (and AMAZING ones at that). I was able to thrift some really current SERIES 😳 plus we’ve had so many amazing donations!

Kids books have been reorganized so we have anywhere from baby to YA out! PLUS we’re getting a good amount saved away for the Halloween event too!

When you stop by this weekend make sure to check them out. We have anywhere from baby all the way to adult books! Thrillers, spooky and Halloween are near the skeleton ✨💀

Went all out for the first October Sunday 🍂🍁

🍲Soup Sunday is back! We have autumn harvest soup with salted herb focaccia 😍 All items are pre packed and ready to go home for a Sunday meal OR already packed for Monday lunch! Soups will be limited as mentioned in previous post. We do have a couple extra slices of focaccia for individual sale as well.

… as for the sweets!

🍩 Oreo Chocolate Donut craziness is back… idk how to even name these 😆 Chocolate glazed donuts on top of Oreo cookie wafers with buttercream. It’s insanity but works!

🤎Cinnamon Rolls… regular and one last autumn batch of apple pie before we move onto pumpkin!

🧁Pumpkin Roll inspired Cupcakes filled with a pumpkin cream

New October drink specials have started as well! Here 9-1 today (Sunday) then back Monday for drive thru 7-1!

🎃📚 HALLOWEEN BOOK DRIVE! 👻
Alright, you all loved my post yesterday which has me beyond excited! So here are some more details about the event.

The plan is to hold a Halloween event on 10/31 and if we have additional books, we’ll carry it over for an additional day. We’ve never done an event like this before, so I’m not sure what the turnout will look like right now… fingers crossed! 🤞

For now, we are looking for Halloween/spooky book donations! Books can be new or in excellent used condition and can be for any age range, including:
📚 Children’s books• Young Adult (YA) books • Adult books

Children’s books will be used for our Halloween event while YA and adult books will be added to our permanent free library space.

👻 DON’T HAVE BOOKS TO DONATE? No worries! I’ve already found a good selection of affordable books if you’d rather contribute toward purchasing them! You can Venmo any amount you feel comfortable with to TheHoneyBean (Vanessa) and use the 📖 book emoji so I know it’s specifically for the book drive. I’ll leave this option available through 10/19 and will use the funds donated to purchase as many children’s books as possible so we have them in time for the event.

📍 Book Drop Off Info
Any books you’d like to donate can be brought in during business hours (posted everywhere online) OR be left on the BACK PORCH of the bakery. Go around the back to the GROUND FLOOR, maroon porch. It’s protected from the weather and has security cameras to prevent any spooky suspicious behavior. I check back there daily so donated items won’t be sitting outside for long.

Again, thank you SO much for all the excitement around this event and for helping us make this little Halloween event happen! Reading is so essential and we’re beyond excited to help our community get more books in everyone’s hands!

More details about the actual event will be shared as we get closer!
