🎎✨ Now at Sushi Zen ✨🎎

We’re proud to share Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day)—a Japanese tradition celebrated on March 3rd to wish for the health and happiness of young girls 🌸

While the holiday is one day, our Hina Doll display will be up for a limited time, so you can experience this beautiful piece of Japanese culture right here in Savannah 🇯🇵

💡 What you’re seeing: • A traditional imperial court from over 1,000 years ago
• Each tier represents roles—from the Emperor & Empress 👑 to musicians and attendants 🎶
• Originally used to carry away bad spirits and protect children

🍣 Come for the food, stay for the culture.

Stop by, take a look, and experience something unique while it’s here 🙌

Due to potential icy roads and the risk of black ice, we’ll be closed tonight for the safety of our staff and guests.
We hate missing a night with you all 💔 but your safety comes first. Please stay warm, stay home if you can, and be careful out there! 🧊🚗

We torch our A5 Kuroge Wagyu just enough
to wake up the marbling—so it melts the moment it hits your palate. 🤍🔥
This is wagyu nigiri the way it’s meant to be.
This is one bucket list bite you don’t want to miss. 🍣✨

Channeling my inner Gordon Ramsay for this one 😆🔥

“Right. This—this is Oden. And if you’ve never had it, you’re absolutely missing out.

It’s not just a dish. It’s a slow-simmered love letter from Japan. A pot of absolute comfort. You lift the lid and—boom—aroma hits you like a warm hug on a cold night.

You’ve got this beautiful golden dashi broth, clean but rich, made from kombu and bonito—simple ingredients treated with absolute respect. Then inside? It’s like a greatest-hits lineup:

Daikon that’s been simmered so long it’s practically a sponge of flavor—soft, juicy, melts in your mouth.

Eggs that soak up all that umami, turning into little bombs of savory goodness.

Fish cakes, light and bouncy, taking on the broth like a champ.

Aromatics and tofu that become silky and warm and just… comforting.

It’s humble. It’s honest. It’s food that doesn’t shout—it whispers… then absolutely floors you.

This is the kind of dish you eat at midnight in Tokyo, freezing outside, and suddenly life feels perfect again.
Warm, savory, soulful—Japan in a bowl.

If you call yourself a fan of comfort food, and you haven’t tried Oden?
What are you doing with your life?”
