Mango season isn’t over just yet. ☀️

We’re still making our Mango Chia Seed Pudding with homemade mango compote, house-made chia pudding, fresh blueberries, coconut, granola, and honey.

It’s cool, refreshing, surprisingly filling, and one of our favorite things on the menu this time of year.

Just a few more weeks before we retire it and make way for your fall favs. 🍂

Thank you to the 800+ friends and neighbors who came out to celebrate with us today. 🙌🏼

Getting to see everyone at both cafés felt like a homecoming. Reconnecting with folks we’ve met along the way and celebrating everything that’s happened over these past six years left us equally joyful and emotional, in the best way.

We wouldn’t be here without you, and we hope you had as much fun as we did. Cheers to the next six years. 🥂

Six years ago, we were running a residential espresso machine from a mobile coffee bar we rigged up, taking online orders door to door (because that’s just what you did in 2020). No shop, no roaster, just Elise and I with a lot of hope.

Feels wild looking back. Two locations now, a team we’re super proud of, guests who’ve turned into real friends over the years. Frfr we can hardly believe it.

July 10th makes six years since we rigged up that bar and launched this thing. So so grateful for it all. 🙏

OCB IS SIX! 🎉

Here’s how we’re celebrating: at both locations on July 10th, every single dollar we make goes straight to our team. The ENTIRE day’s total sales, split among the baristas, roasters, cooks, and dishwashers who make OCB what it is.

And because a birthday isn’t a birthday without cake, we’re serving up a Birthday Cake Cold Foam (complete with sprinkles) for the WHOLE weekend: July 10th—12th. Sprinkles, nostalgia, and just enough sugar to make you feel like a kid again.

We also called in reinforcements: Birthday Cinnamon Rolls from our friends at .co are joining the lineup. They’re as good as they sound.

So pull up. Bring the gang. Order extra. Every cup is a little thank you to the crew that’s been showing up for six years making days brighter and coffee better.

THREE CHEERS FOR JASON 🏆

Every once in a while, we’re blessed with a team member that doesn’t just go above and beyond but becomes irreplaceable. Jason is one of those folks. He shows up every day full of joy and ready to serve not only our guests but the rest of the crew like they’re family.

That embodiment of genuine hospitality and care is exactly why he’s the recipient of our new staff award, The Golden Portafilter 🥇; representing everything we hope to be at OCB.

On May 15th, our new little guy, Foster, made his entrance early! 🤍

Matt & I have been in a baby bubble the past two weeks, and we are so grateful that our team has held down the fort at Origin so that we can soak up this time as a family. It’s been the sweetest whirlwind.

As always, thank you for supporting small business. It’s so much more than just coffee. OCB has changed our lives and we are in constant disbelief at the love and support of our community. 🫶🏼
