Last week, our roasters Derek, Ben, and Matt headed to Minneapolis for Advanced Roaster Training at Mill City Roasters®. We learned alongside incredible roasters from across the country, soaked up the experience of the Mill City team, and visited great baristas and cafés all over the Twin Cities.

Huge thanks to Dogwood Coffee Co., Port2050 coffee roasters, and Cafe Imports for their generosity and hospitality. You made us feel right at home.

We’re back in Savannah and Hilton Head with new ideas and a lot of gratitude. Can’t wait to share all we’ve learned soon with some new stellar coffees coming your way soon! ✨

In honor of Nation Coffee Day, we will be serving up the Mont Blanc for one day only, on September 29th. This drink features 12oz of single-origin Brazilian cold brew topped with an orange zest and warming spice cold foam.

We're so proud and grateful to share that we're partnering with The Dive Savannah.

If you haven't met Kristy Crill and the team at The Dive, they show up for our neighbors experiencing homelessness with a kind of consistency and dignity that stops you in your tracks. They don't just meet needs. They make people feel seen. That's the kind of hospitality we try to practice behind our bar every day, and they do it where it matters most.

So we made them a coffee. The Dive Blend has its own page on our website, and 10% of the profits from every bag go straight back to The Dive at the end of the year.

It's a small thing. But we've always believed coffee is at its best when it brings people together, and there's no community we'd rather be brewing for than this one.

Kristy, thank you for trusting us with this. Savannah, thank you for showing up for each other. ☕

New pour over on bar: India Monsoon. 🌧️

As the name suggests, these coffee cherries depulped and washed in actual monsoon conditions in India.

Ben, one of our of roasters, selected the India Monsoon due to its unique origin, and has expertly crafted a medium roast best fit for pour overs & batch brew.

What we taste: warm chicory, clove, & subtle pineapple sweetness. This coffee is full bodied, low in acidity, and shines even brighter when brewed over ice.

What a freakin’ weekend! Not only was it easily our busiest weekend across both cafes, but we opened up our express bar in the roastery, launched the fall menu, met some ducks, and had a BLAST!
