We found a dusty, boarded-up former paranormal attraction and somehow looked at each other and said...

"This is perfect."

What followed was months of renovations, historic-building surprises, sleepless nights, early mornings, and sometimes more faith than good sense.

And then came June 11.

I thought maybe 15 people would show up for our ribbon cutting.

Savannah had other plans.

More than 100 people packed our little shop on Congress Street. We baked hundreds of scones and sold out by noon. Longtime regulars, curious tourists, friends, neighbors, and people I'd never met before all came to celebrate.

This week's Savvy Scone Journal is the story behind our second location, the haunted building that stole my heart, and the community that continues to humble me every day.

Because this business has never been about me.

It's always been about good food, good fellowship, and creating a place where everyone is welcome.
