Uncommon Coffee Roasters cafe is located in the beautiful town of Saugatuck, Michigan. Nestled in the heart of downtown and only a short drive to gorgeous Lake Michigan, you’ll find that Uncommon is more than just a coffeeshop. As you walk inside the cafe you’ll be greeted by the aroma of fresh brewed coffee, a mouth watering menu and bake case full of fresh baked goods including cookies, croissan

ts, cakes, muffins and so much more! Owners Bruno Nobre and Mauricio DaSilva have worked closely with coffee producers to better understand their products, sourcing green coffee globally and traveling to the origin whenever possible. Both Bruno and Mauricio come from a family of coffee farmers in Brazil. Keep a look out for them at the cafe. You’ll find both of them greeting customers or behind the bar helping staff make lattes or handing out baked goods. They love interacting with customers and making conversation! We continue to take pride celebrating diversity, giving back and promoting sustainability. We strive to work with companies who share similar values. Our goal is to provide a variety of delicious and unique coffees and coffee products to as many people while creating and maintaining sustainable partnerships with customers, coffee producers. Uncommon is also a full service specialty coffee roaster. We know equipment can break down when you need it the most. Our service team has several years of experience in espresso and coffee equipment maintenance. UCR provides installation, service, and preventative maintenance for all of your coffee equipment needs from coffee brewers, grinders, espresso machines, kegerators, and more! Celebrate with us, Bruno’s and Mauricio’s 5th year with Uncommon! Back in 2021, Bruno and Mauricio became owner of Uncommon Coffee Roasters fostering relationships with farmers and the local community. From farm to cafe, they did a lot behind the scenes and the developing process - and some customers would recognize them in the cashier.

Originally founded in 1994 by q***r owners, our cafe became the first safe space in the Saugatuck area. Since our inception, we have partnered with coffee farmers around the world—including a strong focus on women producers—to bring ethically sourced, environmentally responsible coffee to our local community and across the country.

LOVE WINS Blend was created by our founders in honor of marriage equality. Uncommon Coffee Roasters was founded on spreading love, coffee & inclusivity for all. Our PRIDE blend celebrates our inclusivity and our mission of spreading love and coffee.
