On February 11th, at 2:24 AM, our world was turned upside down when we woke to the devastating news that our business was burning to the ground. We’ve lost everything, including much of our family’s personal belongings. The cause was electrical.

In addition to our loss, my nephew, his wife, and their baby girl also lost their RV, which they called home. This tragedy has hit us all hard, but in the midst of it, we choose hope. Hope in humanity. Hope for the future. Our community has been our rock, offering unwavering support 24/7, and we are deeply moved by the kindness of those around us.

To our valued customers, this is not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter. We’ll be fulfilling orders for our cafes this week and our online sales next week. We ask for your patience as we navigate through this challenging time, but we promise to keep roasting the incredible coffee you love. We will come back stronger and more determined than ever to serve you even better!

As we welcome a new year and say goodbye to 2024, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of you—our amazing customers.

This past year has been a whirlwind! 🌪️ With 3 hurricanes and coffee prices at a 40-year high, we’ve faced some tough challenges. But through every low that came our way, you kept us going. Your support means the world to our family, and we can’t thank you enough for choosing us to be part of your coffee journey.

In 2025, we’re more committed than ever to roasting incredible coffee grown by hardworking families around the world and delivering the best to your cups.

Family nights at UTC SRQ are the best, especially when Uncle Phil’s Popcorn Trailer is there with his tasty popcorn (no seed oils!) and maple sugar cotton candy! OMG!

After a very full week of roasting coffee and shipping orders, it felt great to get out for a bit as a family with friends and meet up with Uncle Phil! Also watched a beautiful fireworks show, tried not to freeze and navigated crazy traffic!
