Alright fight fans, O'Malley's will be celebrating our Irish pride this week when McGregor fights Diaz Saturday night! The fighting starts around 8, with the maincard @ 10. Hey there woodworking fans! The weather is finally turning a little cooler so O'Malley is ready to get back into our Wednesday night swing! Tomorrow evening the workshop will be open for our regular Wednesday Night Open Shop! Bradley may be firing up the forge and Shawn has a couple new tools to play around with. We have meatballs in the crackpot for sandwiches, but the cooler is getting a little low - if you want to bring in a 6 or 12 pack to share we never turn away beer! We turn the green light on around 5:30 and it will stay on till the last of us stumble home. See you tomorrow night!

Alright folks, O'Malley is opening up the speak-easy this Saturday (May 9th) to celebrate! Celebrate what, you say? Shawn and family are celebrating Shawn going out on his own in business, Frank (the Brewer) is celebrating 5 new batches of beer (including a special one just for O'Malleys called "Wrecked"), and all of the artists and craftsman working in the workshop want to share their talents with the world! Oh man, did we have a fun Wood Club night last night! Local blacksmith and all-around-awesome-guy Bradley Doral set up his space in the shop and gave everyone a demo of what he does! He took an old, rusty railroad spike and added heat and a lot of sweat. Right before our eyes he coaxed a way cool 8" knife! We are very lucky to have him as part of our Maker's Community here at the Workshop. The best is Bradley's easy going nature and love to teach his process to others! Would anyone out there be interested in a class? What other things would you want to make? Keep posted for future events!
