Kristin Caryl Stockland ran towards life never letting fear fuel her choices. She was true to herself, and intentional about cultivating relationships and lifting others up. She catalyzed others to receive and reflect the brilliance of life. Those who saw and felt her light were reminded of who they were, amazing souls. She lived by the truth of her soul. Love yourself, learn to look deeply into yourself and live authentically. She recognized the beauty in everything, thus beauty became the substance of her life. It was in the glint of her eyes, she subtle smile, her inspiring words, and her colorful art. There are times when life can be complicated. Minds and hearts get cluttered, and its easy to miss the beauty and blessings in life. She showed others how to pause, to look inwards, upwards and all around. She inspired others to be aware of truly living and to engage with the wonders that surrounds us. It's all intertwined, and she recognized, appreciated and fully lived this magnificent fusion. She lived the divine within. She compelled others to recognize it within themselves, in nature and in all things. It's how we cultivate, create and live fully from our hearts. Each day is an opportunity to pause, to be in awe and gratitude, to love without trepidation, and to engage fully with our lives. There's a peculiar beauty in realizing our time here is limited. This shaped her view of life so she lived to celebrate it. Her love of living deepened her presence and often reshaped others to live with intention. She lived with intention clearly defined. She was timeless soul that expressed herself in many different ways across a variety of experiences. She cultivated a way of living that connected her with all things. Her expansiveness and expressiveness is what made her tick. In a world that bombards every minute with clutter and chaos, her contemplative and intentional nature made moments timeless. Without these timeless moments, we are vulnerable to the worlds fast flurry and become the product of our environment, instead of an expression of our intentions and dreams. She listened to her intuition, her heart, and her outer reality reflected this. She knew the true power of being timeless came through living intentionally. Find what makes you tick, and do more of it. Live and leave something of your heart. There's something about seeing creative expression that awaken others to create. An artist experiences something of beauty and expresses it. Kristin, a self taught artist, invited the observer to participate in creation and encouraged personal perspectives. Everyone has their own idea of artistic excellence, but the impact of art is self evident and personal. Just as a pebble thrown into a lake spreads ripples, compelling art sends waves of inspiration through people. Her paintings became her voice allowing her to share something beyond words. Finding that inner voice and being excited to express and create meant a lot to her. Her work reminds us that growth is an exciting feeling never to be tamped down, you begin with a feeling, an intuition, an impulse and allow yourself to express, expand and create. This is the absolute pulse of life, to flow with your feelings, to make something that is your choice. Kristin's art vitalized her soul as well as others, and her colorful legacy lives on.
