After more than a decade we lost our lease on Avenida Madera and had to abruptly close our Siesta Key store. We're sad to see the sun set on this location, but we still have our Clark Rd store and hope you can visit us there. Until then, be like a proton and stay positive.

After over a decade serving you on Siesta Key, our landlord has decided to go in a different direction. This was an unexpected turn of events, and as such we do not at this time have plans to relocate the store. Fortunately, we still have the Clark Rd store, as well as our catering and educational/STEM side of the business, which we hope to grow further. We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us on Siesta Key, from those who found us early on and returned year after year to those who only just discovered us, locals and visitors alike. While the pandemic, hurricanes, and red tide presented challenges at times, our business stayed solid and that’s due to YOU. Thank you. Thanks also to our employees who have been supportive and understanding through this process. We will miss being on the island, but we hope to serve you at our Clark Rd store when you want something refreshing and customized to your tastes and whims. Your loyalty dollars and gift cards are valid there. In keeping with our love of science we leave you with this: Be like a proton—stay positive. 😘
