Fire and Hops is about being local, sustainable, of high quality and a welcoming place for all. Fire and Hops was created in 2014 by Joel Coleman and Josh Johns. Joel and Josh met in 2010 while working for two other Santa Fe entities – Koi Restaurant and 2nd Street Brewery. As camaraderie and friendship ensued, so did the seeds of a future endeavor. b in Santa Fe – an upscale pub that serves high quality food and superb beverages at prices typical of a neighborhood eatery. Their shared vision became Fire and Hops, named as a nod to the two integral elements of such a place – exceptional dining and delicious brew in a casual venue. Furthermore, their concept included solid sustainable practices, supporting local farmers and ranchers, and building an environment that supports all of our community, families, and friends and is reflective of the varied people who make Santa Fe their home. While Joel has since moved on, Josh and Chef Gus Emery continue the original vision of Fire & Hops to this day.
