🚨🚨CLOSED FOR THE DAY🚨🚨

Due to a down power line and no electricity, Soup Star will be closed today. PNM is on the scene and they tell us that they hope to have our power restored in 5-6 hours. I guess when it rains it really does pour! Enjoy the rain, be safe out there and I’ll see you all tomorrow!

Can I get an amen?

We figure that you might as well hear it from us first. Straight from the horse’s mouth. Because, after all, this is very public information that appears in the Santa Fe New Mexican each and every week. On August 26th we received our annual surprise Health Inspection from the New Mexico Environmental Health Department.

Now, do you want the good news or the bad news first?

I guess I’ll give you the good news first since there were ZERO VIOLATIONS! There’s actually no bad news to report.

Running a restaurant is a labor of love and sometimes it feels good to be recognized for all of the blood, sweat and tears that it takes day in and day out.

Thank you for your continued business and friendships. Don’t forget to support local whenever possible. Now, let’s bring on soup season!

If you need a place to drown your tears, drown them with me in a bowl of soup. Together we will get through this. ❤️‍🩹
