Customers have been asking us how they can donate food to our tireless group of firefighters. World Central Kitchen is now in Santa Cruz. Professional chefs, donating their time, are working out of some of our well-known commercial kitchens such as Café Restaurant SOIF, Barceloneta Restaurant, and Mutari Chocolate to bring food to our hard working firefighters on the line. Donate to help local restaurants and our people on the front lines.

We all want to do something to help during this stressful and unsure time.

**update: This week, we served 100 meals to Santa Cruz Police/Public Safety Officers and 150 breakfast goodies to the nurses and doctors at Dominican. THANK YOU to everyone who is supporting our efforts to thank our frontline heroes! We are expanding our program and will keep you posted...❤️

And with that thought in mind, our new Executive Director and the Santa Cruz Film Festival have created a sponsorship program that will help feed our frontline heroes while we also support our local community of chefs, restaurants, farmers, bakers and culinary creators. We will be providing meals and sweet-tooth-treats to frontline workers in the COVID-19 pandemic. 🥗

How can you participate?

1. ✅ Fund a meal or a few meals, all made with love and appreciation. They will be delicious + locally made meals + treats and in doing so, you will give a virtual hug to workers (heroes) on the medical and public safety frontlines while supporting our local restaurants, bakers, farmers and culinary creators. Current Hours: 9-5 Daily Closed Sundays until restrictions are lifted.

A reminder that you are allowed to go out and get food during the Shelter In Place / Stay At Home Order. We have several local businesses that have take-out options that are operating and could use our community’s support during this time!
