We're so excited! Pepper's Corner Café finally has a landline phone number! This was no routine installation. It required site surveys, city permits and construction, all of which took a while. But Comcast not only came through for us, but did so 5 weeks ahead of schedule. Thank you Comcast.

Pepper's Corner Cafe is now up in bright lights outside the American Legion Post 564 at 2120 Walsh Ave, Santa Clara, Califonia.

Open for lunch and dinner every day.

Stop in and try some of our highly acclaimed Teriyaki Chicken, or try one of our equally acclaimed burgers! Many of our regulars rave about our burgers, even declaring that they are the best they’ve tasted!

How about dropping into the American Legion's full-service bar for happy hour, and order some Mozzarella Cheese Sticks as appetizers? Then consider staying for dinner -- we'll bring your order right to your seat in the bar -- or dine al fresco on the patio.

Last November Melinda and I opened Pepper"s Corner Cafe, located in the back of the Bingo Hall of American Legion Post 564, 2120 Walsh Ave, Santa Clara, California.

We've been getting a lot I positive feedback about the quality and selection of food. More than one customer has declared our burgers the best they've tasted. Others are raving about the Chicken Teriyaki or the BBQ Pulled Pork Bun. Not to mention the rave reviews that the Chicken or Pork Adobo has been getting. The Grilled Salmon, Fish & Chips, and Calamari are also highly regarded. And we haven't even mentioned the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Onion Rings, and Tuna Salad.

We're open daily for lunch and dinner, so drop by and treat yourself to a great bite. We have a range of soda's, Snapple, and coconut juices and coconut milk. Or, if you feel like something stronger, order a beer, wine or cocktail from the American Legion bar.

For those with a sweet tooth, we have Cheesecake, Svenhard's pastries, ice creams, and candy.

So Who is Pepper?

Pepper is Melinda and David's beloved, very gentle and loving Australian Cattle Dog, also known as a Blue Heeler or Queenslander.

Seen in the photo on stage with the band at the Yurtville Music Festival earlier this summer.

We've chosen him as the mascot for our cafe, just like Lagunitas Brewery founder Tony Magee chose a dog as the Lagunitas mascot.

The Lagunitas mascot was inspired by "Petey", the canine companion of "The Little Rascals." "The dog, to me," said Magee, "was the star of the whole gang."

Magee hoped that the loyalty and positive feelings associated with man's best friend would also become linked with his beer.

We hope having Pepper as our mascot will engender the same feelings for Pepper's Corner Café.
