Those who know me know I have big love for the Perez family. I am fired up to join Ruben, Kelly Jo, and the team at one of our all-time favorite restaurants .

Their recently launched Saturday brunch is unique and superb. Dutch Babies…need I say more?

and I will be behind the bar. Come for sit-down brunch service (reservations at the sheep’s website) or join us at the (full) bar for coffee and cocktails.

If you are in or near Kona, this is the place to come for coffee. Beautiful light-roasted Hawaiian-grown coffees and easily the best Dirty Coffee I have had.

I was very excited to meet Kraig and Leslie Lee and check out their farm and mill

They are pushing the envelope in Kona with exotic varieties and modern fermentation/processing techniques, and it definitely shows up in the cup. I love and very much appreciate their open-source approach.

Brewing California and Hawaiian-grown coffees on Kraig and Leslie’s lanai is an experience I will remember. Thank you again, my friends!
