Ondo in Santa Ana is one of those places that completely surprised me. They have tofu soup, but this is not your typical tofu house. The space is nice with high ceilings, a really clean, modern vibe.

I’ve had sooo many seafood pancakes over the years, but theirs is hands down the best I’ve ever had. They were very generous with the seafood, and the flavor was spot on. You HAVE to pair it with their house-made dipping sauce.

We also ordered two soup combos: clam soup with galbi and seafood soup with bulgogi beef. Both were so comforting and hit the spot.

And one more thing that really stood out, they also sell frozen dumplings to go, which you don’t usually see at tofu houses.

🍜This is such a crazy deal that after I calculated it, it’s probably like >$90 value. And not to mention the soondobu is SOOO flavorful that even Tai who lost most of this taste said he could taste the flavor. That’s how you know. I think I’d totally come here again solely because of how much food you get. They also have a really good $13 lunch deal so totally a great place for food deals.

Dumplings are one of my quick and easy meals 🤤 the beef and kimchi flavors were so good! The beef is definitely very hearty and the kimchi has a nice kick to it 🥟 super easy to make at home 😊
