It's the end of an era tomorrow at the Farmers Market at Sanibel Outlets ! Make sure you stop by for the LAST market 9am-1pm! We have greatly appreciated people showing up for us and sharing their stories. We are stronger together- lets not forget that ever! On to the next chapter for Spoondrift- we hope to find a space soon to call home. We can't thank Jean and Betsy enough for letting us in this market and the sense of normalcy they have brought back to Lee County. Keep Drifting ❤️

If you're near Sanibel stop by and visit Jeff and Malia at today's Farmer's Market - they'll be at the Sanibel Outlet Mall from 9a - 1p They love to see Spoondrift customers that have become good friends, and locals. They have Poke Bowls you can still make to order, and a few shirts that survived the hurricane!

Our family is looking for temporary housing near Sanibel so we can work on our home and help others. At this time we are in Tampa and I learned we won't be able to stay here much longer.
Thanks for your support. I know many of you are going thru major issues now as well, including health. Stay strong and hopeful.

Smile: a facial expression in which the eyes brighten and the corners of the mouth curve slightly upward. Smile. A feeling of happiness, joy, love, & amusement even. Smile. A sign of friendship, peace, & playfulness. Smile.

Like the smile our island curves, like the smile our island gives and loves and offers peace. Like the smile our island is constant, sometimes fading in hard times but always remembering to show up.

Our future at Spoondrift is unknown. It is a gut wrenching hard reality. It is a numbing nightmare that these images don’t even do justice to provide.

One thing remains in perfect condition. An orange smile shirt. This shirt remains with 10+foot flood waters, 150+mph winds, and pure chaos. This shirt remains on what our staff knows to be the most wobbly mannequin we found in the Noah’s Ark thrift store garbage. This smile shirt is hope. This smile shirt is strength. This smile shirt is sanibel.

Where to even begin with the memories that fill these walls for the last 4 years. I can tell you the most joyous act in this world is that of providing food. To see our staff dancing and singing. Our customers becoming our family. Working side by side with my father -my absolute hero. We hope our customers know that not one thing we did was without intention and love and above all a smile.

We will help our community in anyway we can, as hard as it may be. We are extremely grateful for those rescued and the efforts our city and state are putting forward to help the island. For those we lost - your memory will forever be eternal.

It is extremely hard for us to ask for help but what we are facing is above and beyond our control. If you can donate to our go fund me (link attached) - so we can help mend our business, home, and help our staff- we would be extremely thankful.
