These wonderful folks made the drive all the way from Durham after searching Google for the "best place to eat in Sanford." Guess what popped up first? Mrs. Lacy's Magnolia House! 😊

We're so grateful they chose to spend part of their day with us, and we're even more thankful that they loved their lunch. It never gets old hearing how people discover us and become part of the Mrs. Lacy's family.

Y'all are used to seeing Faye in the kitchen, but this time we've got something a little different! 💃🕺

Check out Mrs. Lacy's owners, Faye and Tommy Schulz, showing off a few dance moves and having a little fun. We spend a lot of time sharing food, recipes, and stories, but sometimes you've just got to turn up the music and enjoy life.

We think Tommy might be getting down to a different kind of music than usual this time! 😂

🌿🍅 Faye has a new idea cooking up! 🍅🌿

While enjoying a little R&R at Ocean Isle Beach, Faye came up with a fun new series for Mrs. Lacy's. She says she was still trying to recover from all that relaxing on her St. John and St. Thomas trip, so naturally she needed another beach trip! 😂🏖️

Now she's ready to head back to the kitchen and show you how to cook some of her favorite recipes using fresh ingredients from the garden. 🌽🥒🍆🍅

Some days the line is out the door from 11:00 to 2:00, and we are incredibly grateful for that. ❤️

Today may have been the first day in a while that things slowed down just a little, and honestly, it was kind of nice. We love being busy, but it was nice to catch our breath, visit a little longer with customers, and enjoy a steady pace for a change.

Thank you all for keeping us so busy week after week. Whether we're packed to the walls or having a quieter afternoon, we're grateful for every person who chooses to spend part of their day with us.

Y'all have been a blessing to our family, our staff, and our little restaurant. We can't wait to do it all again tomorrow! 🥰🍽️
