Over the years we’ve made a lot of ridiculous beers. Some amazing. Some chaotic. Some that probably should’ve required emotional preparation before opening the can. But this series became something bigger than just smoothie sours and nostalgia bombs.
It became a reminder of why we do this. **Not Afraid of the Smiggles** is massive, loud, colorful, absurdly over-the-top, and completely unapologetic — exactly how this fest was always meant to end. Explosive waves of tropical pineapple and bright citrus slam into deep grape candy sweetness before melting into rainbow cereal marshmallow creaminess and that signature face-melting sour finish.
It tastes like:
A gas station candy aisle at midnight.
A sleepover in 2002.
An Eminem CD scratched from overuse.
A cereal bowl full of chaos.
A brewery full of people screaming lyrics together while holding neon-colored beer.
And somehow… beneath all the insanity… this one feels emotional.
Because every release in this series represents a piece of the journey we’ve been on together. From tiny experimental batches to festivals packed wall-to-wall with people, this community helped build Pontoon Brewing into what it is today.
We’re not afraid to make weird beer.
We’re not afraid to fail.
We’re not afraid to keep evolving.
And we’re definitely not afraid of the Smiggles.
