🍂 FALL IS HERE, SANDUSKY! 🍂

Well look at that… the weather cooling down, everybody getting back inside, and P’JerKins is ready with that good ol’ comfort food. 🫶🏽

As we move into the fall season, our hours will be changing, and we’re getting ready to roll out some new specials and smaller meal options because sometimes you just need a little island comfort by yourself before all the fall festivities begin!

And yes… we’re keeping that same fresh, homemade goodness coming out of our kitchen. Nothing fancy needed when you’ve got a warm plate of comfort food waiting for you. 😋

Sandusky has plenty going on this week, from fall activities and community events to the weekend’s family fun around town. 🍁 The Sandusky Farmers Market is continuing its Saturday season, and there are several community gatherings happening throughout the week.

Something pretty special happened at P’Jerkins last night that we just had to share. One of the athletes competing in the Strongman Champions League stopped in for some Jamaican food. As we were talking, he said “I’ve eaten Jamaican food all over the world and this is the best.” and that just made our night!

To know that someone who travels the world, eats Jamaican food all over the world, and is competing among some of the strongest men on the planet walked into P’Jerkins and left with THAT feeling… whew! Now we get to see a little piece of that excitement happening right here in our town!

So Sandusky, come OUT! Bring the family, bring your friends, cheer these incredible athletes on, enjoy downtown, and show them the same hometown love you’ve shown us.

Back home, the island is alive with music floating through the streets, the smell of jerk on the grill, families gathering, flags waving, and communities celebrating the strength, resilience, and joy that make Jamaica so special. No matter where a Jamaican is in the world, today feels like celebrating.

The sunshine is out, the kitchen is coming to life, and we're in here with grateful hearts getting today's home-cooked Jamaican favorites started 🫶🏽🇯🇲.

Last night at dinner, our family spent some time reading through your Google reviews as we prepared for the week ahead. We laughed, smiled, and even got a little emotional. Your kind words mean more than you know.

A little over a year ago, our family rearranged our entire lives and priorities because we believed in creating a place where people could enjoy a good home-cooked meal. Every smile, every conversation, every review, and every visit reminds us why we made that decision.
