What a fabulous day it was! Thank you everyone who came and raced and also supported the athletes! It was inspiring and awesome! This was our second year to be open during the race… and the emotion at the finish line is like nothing else! See you next year Ironman!

That’s a wrap on the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 Ohio!

Congrats to all the athletes who competed today!

This year presented some unique challenges, with the wildfire smoke late last week, and having to cancel the swim portion due to the conditions in the Sandusky Bay this morning. Thanks to everyone for pivoting and ensuring all the participants and volunteers were safe during the event.

A big thank you to our partners at Shores & Islands Ohio , as well as the many volunteers, safety services, and community partners who helped make this event possible.

We’re also grateful to our local businesses for welcoming visitors and to our residents for their support and also their patience with the road closures today.

Thanks to everyone who played a part in making today a success.

Who’s ready for iRONMAN? We are!

We had a blast last year opening our doors on Ironman Sunday… and we are doing it again this year! Both patios as well as inside bar and tables will be available, with your favorite CRUSH menu available!
Not accepting reservations, just come on in! 11-3 Sunday! (Remember that access to downtown can be challenging this Sunday… so plan to park and walk downtown!)
