Hi friends!

Today is our last day before we close up for winter! It was a fun experience serving Sandpoint great quality food. It was a learning experience for us, rendering 40lbs of beef suet to end up burning it was probably one of the worst.

We will see you all in spring 2023, though it may change as we will have a 👶 due that year! Keep an eye out as we may post updates on Facebook, and Instagram, with small pop ups or limited time online orders.

Don't be afraid to DM us with any questions, or just to have a friendly chat! We'd love to keep in touch with you all. We love to share homemade Korean banchan (side dishes) and kimchi (with all that fermented fish sauce and shrimp paste for the authentic stink) so let's keep in touch!

Thank you Sandpoint for the support and love! We had a fun time meeting you all, we met awesome folks out here, it was exchanging stories about our lives and health!

Here's a preview of our homemade soda! It's made using fresh, organic strawberries and organic cane sugar turned into syrup using a Korean method called "Cheong" and plain old club soda. Just three ingredients!

No heat is applied in the syrup making process, which leaves the soda tasting super fresh!

We look forward to serving this to everyone next week.

Coming soon... Korean syrups for sodas and donuts! So far, we're thinking of going with strawberry! Korean syrup, or "Cheong" 청, is a simple syrup made with choice of fruit/berry and cane sugar. It's left to sit until the sugars pull out moisture from your fruit or berry of choice. No heat needed! Some folks use it on herbs and veggies. An example of a very popular citrus hot tea using cheong method is Yuja-cha (유자차). Keep an eye out!

We now serve traditional Korean street food donuts (Kkwabaegi)! We use grass fed butter, grass fed milk, organic, unbromated flour! It is coated in either organic cane sugar, organic cinnamon cane sugar, or in our organic powdered sugar.

In Korea, Kkwabaegis are extremely popular in bakeries or sold in a stall for a quick snack! It's one of my favorite Korean baked (fried?) goods - it is not meant to be overly sweet! Our donuts are fried in our house rendered lard or tallow!

Behold! Our secret Krabby patty formula! It's just beef fat. We had an awesome time at the farmer's market. We want to thank everyone that supported us (including other food truck vendors!), thank you all for the feedback! Today, we met and served some cool and likeminded folks - we love sharing our story and listening to yours. It'll be a busy week rendering nearly 100 pounds of beef fat, and marinating our chicken.
