pizza, pasta, wine?! Umm, yes please! in San Rafael is a three-time Best of Marin winner and honestly after this spread I get why. brick oven pizza made by hand, cherry tomato pasta that was perfectly sauced, crispy calamari, their own house pinot, and a strawberry cheesecake I haven’t stopped thinking about.
but the food is only half of it. the owner came to our table. the staff actually cared. the portions were so big we had leftovers for days. it felt like eating at someone’s home who just happens to be an incredible chef.
if you’re looking for a reason to take a drive to Marin County β€” this is it. bring your people. order too much. thank me later.
