I am going to tell you something very painful. And you need to hear it.
It's this:
That they will break every rule in existence in order to be with the person that they desire at that moment.
So you should probably move on. My unsolicited advice is that you move the f**k on.
And I think that if you remove the "lust" in the equation- that you really are not missing very much at all...
That's the true silver lining.
