To Our Community,
It is with a heavy heart that after years of hard work here at the cafe, we have come to the difficult decision to close our doors.
I cannot express how grateful I am to the travelers from around the world, the staff who have come and gone (and come back on school breaks) and, most especially, to our locals who frequented this little spot. We enjoyed meeting and brunching with every single one of you—watching your kids grow a bit taller, and their pallets getting a bit more adventurous over the years. These past years have been both fulfilling and extremely difficult on our family—and it’s now time for me to start cooking for my own family a bit more often. I have greatly enjoyed being a part of this community and will hold forever the kindness you have shown me.
This Saturday (tomorrow), 10/14, we will be hosting a merchandise (and some family items) liquidation sale at our home from 8-11am (sorry no early birds!) along with several houseplants and decor from the shop. We would love to see your faces even if you’re not in the market for some amazing goods, just come give us a hug or a high five goodbye! Find us at 2122 Harris St. in SLO.
