Dear friends and valued customers,

Inaka will be closing its doors on March 30th. With the rising costs of food, insurance, utilities, and labor, continuing to operate is no longer financially sustainable without compromising quality. More than anything, though, this decision marks the beginning of a new chapter for our family.

For six years it has been our pleasure serving this community, neighboring towns, and visitors. It’s been truly rewarding to see so many of you recognize our efforts to bring high quality, homemade Japanese food from our family recipes to San Juan Bautista. We are proud to have created a space for people in our community to gather and enjoy each other’s company. We are so grateful to our incredible employees and for the many great relationships we’ve forged with loyal customers and other small business owners in the community.

We, of course, hope that this decision is respected and supported by those who have joined us in this journey.
