Mission cafe announcement:
To all of our wonderful costumers and friends, we feel it is time to announce the official closing of our last restaurant in our town. This is very difficult news for us to share with you all, because it is hard to finally lose both restaurants, the Basque (Matxain Etxea) and the Mission Café, after 22 years of serving our community.
We made the ill-advised decision of choosing to stay with the wrong landlord in the height of the pandemic so that we could survive, without thinking they would eventually decide to take the restaurant from us after all the hard work done to survive as a small business and keep our employees, as well as all the investments we made to improve the restaurant.
We will miss you all and the good memories made over these many years. Please keep our employees and our families in your thoughts during this difficult time of great change.
