We are still building our brick and mortar and have re-launched our GoFundMe with some NEW merch incentives designed by Erik Marinovich!

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR
We’ve completed over 70% of the build-out. This includes major upgrades like ADA-compliant bathrooms (we had to extend the foundation, $$$$$), a brand-new 10” Type 1 Hood (this allows us to cook everything and anything $$$$$), and a complete plumbing overhaul ($$$).

WHERE WE STAND
We need to raise more money to finish the electrical and beautify this space. We are not afraid of a DIY approach but we really hope to have the proper equipment to execute our very adventurous creative menu including a lot of our hit staples, FISH TACOS, CONSOMMÉ, AND CARNE ASADA!!!

$1000 contribution a shirt, hoodie, and your name or nickname of your choice to be written and placed inside Chicáno Nuevo so everyone and you, know you helped us open. Welp. Hell has truly frozen over. We never intended to be back at 1166 Geneva AVE, (the old Broken Record) for many reasons. But when we heard some dear industry friends, Ethan and Greg were taking over, we could not resist an invite. Especially after a superb makeover! Come to Halfway Club to get a cocktail from Trevin Hutchins & get an updated taste of our old hits Sundays and Mondays starting 6/9/2024 to 7/15/2024!

As we embark on our journey towards realizing our dreams of opening a brick-and-mortar location, we are excited to share some updates with you. Our pop-up has two more weeks at
Evil Eye, 2937 Mission Street in San Francisco.
SUNDAY 3PM - 9PM
MONDAY 5PM - 10PM
We invite you to join us and experience a taste of what's to come.

In addition to our delectable offerings, we will also be selling exclusive merchandise during our pop-up event. For the next two weeks, you'll have the opportunity to purchase crewnecks, bandanas, and T-shirts featuring our unique designs. It's the perfect way to show your support and take a piece of our journey home with you.

Furthermore, we are actively seeking additional investment to help turn our vision into reality. With a carefully crafted pitch deck in hand, we are on the lookout for investors who share our passion for creating a local hangout in Bernal Heights where cocktails flow freely, happy hours abound, and unforgettable dinners transport you to Baja for the evening.

Our kitchen will be the heart and soul of our new space, allowing us to push the boundaries of culinary creativity and share our story through food. But our aspirations extend beyond just serving delicious meals. We envision our future home as a vibrant community hub, offering cooking classes for families, providing a platform for local artists to showcase their work, and creating opportunities for the next generation to learn and grow.

6 Week Pop-Up inside Evil Eye! Starting this Sunday and Monday!

We are still in the thralls of building. After a family emergency we have finally recovered. We're so close to having our dream restaurant built, we can taste it! We need to raise more capital to make the most beautiful restaurant for our community. SO for the next 6 weeks we will be resurrecting our pop-up inside Evil Eye, 2937 Mission Street! Please join us while we present our classic dishes as well as have you taste some of our new adventures! Keep in mind we are seafood forward and never dip, just sip ( our consomme´).
