Everyone always asks us if we do pineapple on pizza and the simple answer is yes, sometimes. People ask all year for this one and it’s worth the wait.

It’s been said that anytime a kid gets an extra mozzarella stick in their fry basket, ska music plays. But whenever I hear Ska music I think of pineapple on pizza. I also think when you put a fruit like pineapple on a pizza, you have to then pronounce it like “peekza” (IYKYK). These are just my hot takes, guys.

The Italians at Pizza Expo would be super bummed about this one but we are stoked it’s back. It’s only going to be here a few more weeks so come in before it’s gone!

3 NINJAS WORSHIP INCOMING…

Yeah, so.. one of our pizza specials this month is named after one of my all time favorite movies “3 Ninjas” till this day no other movie has come close to the greatness that is this movie. Well maybe biodome or the ringer but yeah definitely top five banger.

A long while ago our while playing in a band we decided to be cool guys and have super cool nicknames - o’gnarly one became mine based off a small short line from my all time favorite movie. Since then I’ve pretty much just based my entire personality off this character - pretty sad right?

When putting together this pizza with some of my favorite toppings a few years back it was only fitting it was given the great name of the gnarliest of ones.

Anyways, cheers to coming of age movies with bad guys you’d probably want to hang out and eat pizza with.

O’GNARLY ONE - ranch base, mozzarella, hot Italian sausage, serranos & artichokes.

It’s spicy, savory & ranch-y if you haven’t tried id you’re definitely missing out.

Pork confit (fancy eh?) served over chipotle smoked mole, hominy grits, salsa verde & slaw.

This dish is a highlight of teamwork. Usually an idea is sparked and shared amongst the staff. Inspired by others, travel or even a family member - we add to our inspo board and stay creating. You’ve heard me say it before, creating a dish can be a lot like playing in a band writing songs where everyone riffs off one another.

This idea came to DC inspired by a dish in Mexico and the one time he put too many cloves in his mole which tasted like clove ci******es. The team assembled and took it to the next level. Anthony got the mole just right, Smokey not TOO spicy with great texture and aromatics. Rob went all in on the salsa verde when Daniel asked for more green zach made it happen with Rob. Lex and Zach put in over time finding the perfect style, cut and flavor profile for the protein. It’s really a team effort.

So much of what we do at FIRED is about pushing ourselves and the menu outside of what is comfortable, outside of what you can find anywhere else, outside of the conglomerate food service box. We hope you do the same when ordering dinner. Life is too short to eat boring food.

Cheers to teamwork, your aunts mole, or messing up a recipe at home. Shop is open 4 to 8pm.

THE GOOD BURGER IS BACK!!!

And I know what you're thinking... "illegal".... but here me out: this is not a Neapolitan pizza. It's its own thing and it's not playing by anyone's rules.

There's a lot of debate on this pizza, specifically between me and Daniel. He says he came up with this one but I'm here to take all the creative credit. If you know me, you know I love cheeseburgers more than life itself, and this one is a nod to my days at Bjs Brewhouse, back on the OG menu when they did their deep dish cheeseburger pie. I couldn't get enough of that one. But they fired me for giving out free drinks and they took this gem off the menu. Nothing good lasts forever right?

But this pizza is back and right on time. If you haven't tried this, get out of your pizza comfort zone and try something weird. You'll be craving this one for years to come.
