By the way, if you are flying Alaska Airlines and you happen to take-off or land in SFO’s Terminal 1, Concourse B, back in Gate B18 is Mama Go’s Filipino Cuisine, a little turo-turo resto with a pretty good selection of Filipino dishes. Hungry, I ordered the semi-sweet beef kaldereta, rice, and pork lumpia shanghai. It also came with a clear broth soup. Hit the spot. It was nice to see this Pinoy resto in a major US airport. Check it out.

If Lumpiang Shanghai is the Filipino version of a protein bar… we couldn’t agree more. 🤤🇵🇭💪

The average Lumpiang Shanghai packs around 4–6 grams of protein per piece—so technically… it’s a protein snack. 😏 (Not that we needed another excuse.)

But let’s be honest… you’re not stopping at just one. 😂
