Sa Ie’s didn’t start with a business plan. It started with my mom, grilling skewers at family cookouts decades before any of us knew this would become something real.

When we actually tried to build it into a business back in 2018, it wasn’t just me. It was my mom and siblings who grilled, served, and figured it out together, because that’s just what family does. Friends showed up too, right alongside us at those early events, helping however was needed.

Family still comes to visit and help when they can, and so do those same friends from back then. And here in San Diego, a whole new group of friends has folded right into that same family, like they’d always been part of it.

This was never built by one person, and it doesn’t run that way now either. Every bit of it stands because the people around us believed in it, and in me, enough to help make it real.
